Decidedly Different, Right from the Beginning
There was no precedent for the recovery housing model Dr. Ernie Fletcher launched years ago when governor of Kentucky. The same is true of the company he founded to promote that model across America. Ever-adaptable and constantly evolving, the Fletcher Group eschews dogma for data in a relentless evidence-based, cross-disciplinary pursuit of what works best in the real world of SUD recovery. That’s why you can feel safe sharing your vision with us, knowing that we’re just as passionate and determined as you to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Our People
The Fletcher Group’s unrivalled multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts may be known for its entreprenuerial spirit and and outside-the box thinking, but the throughline has always been the personal yet selfless passion to make a difference. The expertise of our geographically dispersed staff, many with self-disclosed experience, encompasses virtually every aspect of modern-day recovery, from recovery home best practices and services to deflection, re-entry, and workforce development, all applied with heartfelt passion to advance the good work you do.

Our History
Moved by the suffering of the homeless and the addicted, then governor Ernie Fletcher made a bold move. Leveraging an unprecedented range of Kentucky resources, both public and private, he launched the Recovery Kentucky program that over the past three decades has helped thousands of Kentuckians turn their lives around. That innovative and highly successful housing model serves as the centerpiece of the life-changing recovery ecosystems the Fletcher Group is now helping to build in communities from coast to coast.

Our Model
As anyone who works in recovery knows, a cookie-cutter approach doesn’t cut it. Effective and economical, the self-sustaining whole-health housing model Dr. Ernie Fletcher developed as governor of Kentucky transcends the barrier that’s traditionally separated the social and medical models of recovery. By applying the best of both, the Recovery Kentucky program has been cited as a national model in SAMHSA’s 2019 “Evidence-Based Resource Guide” and has been singled out as “a model that works” by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Our Vision
If any industry is in need of leadership, it’s ours. That’s why the Fletcher Group has embraced its role as “field catalyst,” working across silos to untangle the knots and address the critical capability gaps that prevent so many Americans from getting the help they need. By thinking outside the box, we’re able to fill voids in our industry’s skill set, spot the white space for breakthrough change, and plot a long-range map for achieving the sweeping, transformative change in recovery services and treatment that America so desperately needs.
