IMAGE FOR TWO GREAT PROGRAMS TWO WAYS TO WIN

Funding from two sources—the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Elevance Health Foundation—now allows the Fletcher Group to offer SMART Recovery’s Successful Life Skills training program free of charge to recovery home residents across the country.

Evidence-based
The Successful Life Skills program uses evidence-based methods to help people find within themselves the power to change. Proven effective in over 100 countries, the training—including materials and equipment—can now be yours free of charge. Residents or staff who complete the program can also earn a SMART Recovery Trainer’s Certificate that allows them to facilitate the Successful Life Skills program going forward for new residents to receive the benefits of the program.

Which program is best for you?

Our HRSA-funded program is restricted to recovery homes located within counties defined as rural by HRSA. In addition to the free training, recovery homes that qualify for this program may also qualify for a $1,200 stipend.

Our program funded by the Elevance Health Foundation is available to homes in both urban and rural areas with an emphasis on six states in particular: California, Georgia, Indiana, New York, Ohio and Virginia.

About HRSA

Through 90-plus programs and more than 3,000 grantees, HRSA provides equitable health care to people who are geographically isolated and economically or medically vulnerable. This includes programs that deliver health services to people with HIV, pregnant people, mothers and their families, those with low incomes, residents of rural areas, American Indians and Alaska Natives, and those otherwise unable to access high-quality health care. HRSA programs also support health infrastructure, including the training of health professionals and distributing them to areas where they are needed most, providing financial support to health care providers, and advancing telehealth.

The Foundation works to advance health equity by focusing on improving the health of the socially vulnerable through partnerships and programs in our communities with an emphasis on maternal child health; substance use disorder; and food as medicine.
