Coming Up: An Introduction to Recovery Community Organizations
A Recovery Community Organization is any nonprofit organization founded and led by people with direct lived experience with substance use challenges and recovery. Our April 4 webinar will take an in-depth look at the history of RCO’s, how they make use of peer-based support, and some of the many paths to recovery they facilitate to benefit rural communities. The presenter will be Donald McDonald, Technical Expert Lead with JBS International which provides technical assistance to grantees of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP).
